Q:Regarding the V for Vendetta post and the apron comment, just thought I'd point out that there is nothing about the apron that should detract from his comment. A man wearing a traditionally feminine garment and being mocked for it is saying that women's clothes are inferior and thus a man should not be wearing it. Just saying, for a blog about racism, there's something sexist about that comment despite its humorous intent.

I think the apron-wearing makes that quote more awesome because it is not conforming to the gender roles we would expect from someone saying that. Sorry if that was not apparent.
